Bible Study

Here's a very simple Bible study for you to follow. We believe the Bible is supernatural in origin, infallible in authority, universal in interest and eternal in duration. Find the chapter and verse of each book referred to and see for yourself. With the right formula, you get the right results every time.

All verses quoted are from the Authorised King James Version and the list is far from exhaustive. The scriptual references are links to The Revival Fellowship International online Bible.

REPENTANCE

To repent means to change your thoughts and views and to accept the will of God, instead of rejecting and fighting against it.

Jesus preached its necessity
Everyone is to be told
Part of the gospel in the early church
God wants to save us

THE HOLY SPIRIT

All those in the early Christian church, who received the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongues as evidence. They then preached it and expected the same experience in others.

Prophecy about the Holy Spirit
Believers speak in tongues
The Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues
Every Christian experiences the same

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

Jesus clearly foretold the state of the world before His imminent return. He will return for those who have kept His word and warns everyone else to change their ways.

The end of the world is foretold
Jesus tells of events before His return
The destruction of society
He will return as a thief in the night

WATER BAPTISM

To be fully immersed in water the same as Jesus, as a sign of humility and obedience - christening is not scriptural.

Jesus demands water baptism
We cannot be saved without it
An integral part of salvation
Symbolic of laying our old life down

HEALING BY THE POWER OF GOD

Jesus brought a dynamic gospel which set the people free. Signs, wonders and miracles distinguished Him from everyone else. The believers have the same power.

Jesus performed many miracles
Signs follow true believers
Only a powerful gospel works
Miracles in the early Christian church
